Semi-Custom Invitation FAQs
What’s included with my semi-custom invitation order?
Your semi-custom invitation suite automatically includes three pieces - your primary invitation (size 5” x 7”), a details card (size 4.25” x 5.5”), and a matching outer envelope. One round of complimentary design revision is also included with your order to ensure that everything looks perfect before going to print.
Why doesn’t my invitation include an RSVP?
Matching RSVPs are available for all semi-custom invitation suites! You can find your invitation’s matching RSVP featured in the shop as well as towards the bottom of each individual invitation’s product page. With the rise in popularity of online RSVPs, we’ve chosen to make your semi-custom invitation suite more economically priced with your two must-have invite pieces and an option for including RSVPs as an add-on for anyone desiring a more traditional invitation format.
How do I add an RSVP?
Matching RSVPs are available for all semi-custom invitation suites! You can find your invitation’s matching RSVP featured in the shop as well as towards the bottom of each individual invitation’s product page.
How do I order my invitations with dappled edges?
You can click here to visit the dappled edges product page and add a lovely hand torn edge to your invitation order. You can also find dappled edges featured in the shop as well as towards the bottom of each individual invitation’s product page.
Can I send an RSVP as a postcard with dappled edges?
You sure can! Dappled edges can be applied to RSVP postcards and sent via USPS with a postcard stamp. As with any postcard and envelope, please note that edges may become slightly more worn as they travel through the postal service en route to your guest’s doors.
How do I customize my invitation?
When you are ready to order your invitations select “add to cart” and a personalization form will pop up. Here you can enter all of the details that will make your invites you! Choose from custom greetings, add your wedding start time, your names, and more. Don’t worry, you will have a chance to edit your info once it’s been added to your cart prior to ordering, and if any information changes after your order has been placed you will still have an opportunity to update it in your complimentary round of design revision prior to going to print.
How do I choose my details card style?
Each invitation suite includes your choice of details card - one with fuller text and details, and one with a short message directing your guests to find wedding information via your wedding website. Images of both styles can be seen in the photos on your invitation suite’s product page. When you are ready to order your invitations, select “add to cart” and a personalization form will pop up where you can enter all of your info and select which details card style you would like to feature in your suite.
Can I order my envelopes with recipient addressing included?
Absolutely! RSVPs automatically include complimentary digital addressing for either RSVP format (postcard or return envelope). For digitally printed addresses on your outer invitation envelope, please contact me to inquire about options for style and pricing. When will I receive my invitations?
Each order is dependent on a timely revision of your final pieces prior to going to print, but you can expect to receive your fine art, semi-custom invitation suite in approximately 10 business days. You will receive printing, shipping, and tracking updates so you know exactly when to expect your special order on your doorstep! Orders including calligraphy addressing will be provided a custom delivery estimate upon order and generally take three to five days longer than non-calligraphy orders.
Can I see a copy of my personalized invitation before I order?
Due to the amount of personalization and care put into every semi-custom invitation suite, a preview of your design with your information is not available until your order has been placed. However, every invitation suite and RSVP order once placed includes a complimentary round of design revision to assure that your invitations are perfect prior to going to print!
How do I add an image of my venue for the Venue Love suite?
You can send a photo to use as the reference for your venue illustration anytime to lovelettersmn@gmail.com with the subject line of Venue Love, *your name*. e.g. Venue Love, Sally Johnson. If no email is received when your Venue Love invitation suite order has been placed, Molly will reach out with images of your venue based on search engine results and you can either choose from the selected images or provide your own at that time.
Can I personalize sections of my invitation that I don’t see listed on the customization form?
Absolutely! Need to add parking details or want to include a special quote somewhere? Your customization form will include a section at the bottom for notes. Please write in any special requests or inquiries here and Molly will do her best to accommodate and reach out to you if any questions arise. Edits requested to any invitation element beyond the text such as additional illustrations or general layout changes might ensue fees that will be fully disclosed by Molly to you prior to making said edits. In the event that Molly quotes your design requests as beyond what you are willing to pay for additional editing, you will have the choice of proceeding with your order without the edits or canceling your order to receive a full refund. Fully custom invitation suites are available as well, learn more about this option by emailing Molly a brief description of your vision or inquiry.
What if I entered some of my information wrong on the customization form?
No worries! You will have a chance to edit your info once it has been added to your cart and prior to ordering, simply click “edit info” below the item you wish to update in your cart. If any information changes after your order has been placed you will still have an opportunity to update it in your complimentary round of design revision prior to going to print.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes. If you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours a full refund can be issued.
Can my order be refunded?
A full refund can be issued within 24 hours of ordering your semi-custom invitations. After receiving a digital mock-up of your personalized invitations, orders may be refunded up to a certain percentage on a per-order basis. Once approval has been given to send your order to print, refunds are not available. However, your ultimate satisfaction is priority and any issues with your ordering process or final product are very important to us and we will work with you to try to find a resolution that works for both parties.
